FireLock Style 005 rigid coupling has a unique, patented angle-pad design which allows the
housings to offset while clamping the grooves. By permitting the housings to slide on the angled
bolt pads, rigidity is obtained.
Support and hanging requirements correspond to NFPA 13 Sprinkler Systems. Angle-pad design
permits assembly by removing one nut/bolt and swinging the housing over the gasket. This
reduces components to handle during assembly.
Style 005 FireLock coupling are designed and recommended for use ONLY on fire
protection systems.
Vic-Plus™ Gasket System:
In North America, Victaulic offers a gasket system which requires no field lubrication on wet
pipe systems that are hydrostatically tested. The Vic-Plus System (patented) is dry, clean, and
non-toxic. It reduces assembly time substantially and eliminates the mess and chance of overlubrication. Please refer to the latest copy of the Victaulic Field Installation Handbook (I-100) for
